Heyyyyy!
The “three shows in one day marathon” on Saturday was amazing! So many people turned up at our shows and the sun shone like summer was here to stay forever. Check out this video from the show @ Oslo Miljøfestival in Spikersuppa:

We have two upcoming gigs in the next couple of weeks:

First one up is on the island Storebø in Austevoll, host of the Havfest festival. We are playing with Fjorden, Baby, The Shitsez and Casiokids to name a few. Get your tickets here!

On the 22/6 we are back in Oslo playing @ Mir, Grünerløkka Lufthavn. It will be an awesome night together with Proviant Audio, Astro 12 and Babyjaws.

It’s been a long time… We’ve been so busy the last couple of months that we almost forgot  we had a webpage! Sorry about that. As we already told you the first single called One Push From The Edge was on high rotation at NRK P3 for several months during atumn and winter of 2010.

The second single Beat has been played at student radio all over the country.

We are proud to announce that we have signed a record deal with the Norwegian indie-label Bolibompa Records and that our debut album will be released on the 7th of february 2011! “Kids Love The Untz Untz” baby!! Today we are also revealing the lovely cover art for the album made by our favourite graphic designer Kate Alexandra. Stay tuned for more info!

Yesterday our debut album was mastered at Cosmos Mastering by Christoffer Stannow. We are very pleased with the result, it sounds amazing! The process of making the album has taken almost one year and we are now working hard to release it early 2011. We’ll keep you posted on the latest news regarding the untz untz!

Check out this video from our live radio debut at NRK P3′s “Popsalongen” wich features us doing a low-key version of our smash hit single “One Push From The Edge”. Everyone at P3 was superfriendly and we had a great time.

Today we are celebrating five weeks on NRK P3′s C-list with “One Push From The Edge” and the fact that it has advanced to the B-list wich means more airtime for CCBG. We are so happy that you like our music and want to hear more! Thank you!!

Monday next week (11/10) we will perform live on P3′s Popsalongen were we will do an alternative version of our single plus a secret cover song. If you’re not in Norway you can listen to the live stream by clicking here.

On Thursday (14/10) we are playing the Prelarm / Høstlarm showcase that will take place at Café Mono in Oslo. The Event is free and will feature two other exciting bands. Come on down and we’ll keep you warm in the autumn cold!!

Garage (So What!) is a legendary Oslo club that unfortunately is closing at the end of this year. August has been a great month for Chitty Chitty and we would like to sum it up for you:

NRK P3 has continued to play “One Push From The Edge” on the radio since we became Ukas Urørt. It is currently C-listed. If you haven’t heard the song yet you can give it a listen and even download it for free here!

We have played lots of amazing festivals like fantastic Øyafestivalen, scenic Kongene på Haugen, STUDiO and super cozy Kollenfestivalen. Thank you guys, we had a great time!

As always there was a lot of international press and industry people visiting Øyafestivalen. Drowned in Sound gathered a couple of them in an article and we were mentioned several times! Read it here!

Our album “Kids Love The Untz Untz” is finished! We are now sending the tracks to mastering and can’t wait for you to hear it!
